The Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam commissioned Suzero to create three murals as part of an exhibition about the history of Dutch musicals.
Together with the curators and designers of the exhibition, we brainstormed to come up with the elements that should adorn the walls. I drew all elements by hand (digitally) on an iPad Pro and compiled the design per wall in Photoshop. It was quite a challenge to make sure my elements would fit around physical objects such as electric sockets, screens and theatrical attributes on the wall.
The designs were printed on strips of wallpaper and mounted perfectly by the museum. For me it was the first time a design of mine was printed quite that large!
